Hey guys I have a 95 F250 4x4 that I use to plow snow and pull a small excavation tractor for work. Over the past year I have had a low end knocking sound that seems to be the main bearing. A Couple months ago while plowing snow the engine all but died on me.
So here I am asking for your thoughts on what I should do. I recently got a 351 from a 94 Bronco, and I also have my old block. Which one do I build, and what parts do you suggest. I want this to be a strong work engine, and a low reving one at that.
One last question if anyone can answer it. While calling junk yards for a block, they asked me if I had AIR in the exhaust header, my truck seems to have a vacuum hose or something coming of the header, while the 94 engine does not.
