Please Help - Locks quit - WD40 did not work - Major Problem?
1. The lock/unlock switch is not working on either front door. There is no buzzing sound like they are even trying to open.
2. The door ajar light stays on constantly.
3. The 2 remotes I have, do nothing, even after new batteries (lock or unlock)
4. When you open the doors (any of the 4) the interior light doesn't come on.
5. The dome light comes on after you turn the key off but the radio stays on after you open and shut the door. Until the time expires on the battery save and then it turns off.
I have checked the 30amp maxx fuse for the system. It is still good.
Is there a control module that might have gone bad?
It wouldn't be so bad if I could manually unlock the door to get in, but the drivers door has been jimmy'd from a break-in and the key will not turn in the door. So the only way in right now is to unlock the passenger door and reach thru.
Thanks for your help.

Just a thought....Good luck.
I hit the remote lock - went into the school to retrieve my son, came out and it would not unlock with the remote. Opened it manually on the passenger side door, hit the unlock button on the door and nothing, reached thru into the drivers door to open it, got in and it started right up, drove home with the door ajar light on the whole way, got home turned the truck off and opened the door and the stereo stayed on, I shut the door and it still stayed on with the dome light, opened the door and it still stayed on, closed the door and it still stayed on until the 5 min timer shut it off. Remotes still do not work and the lock/unlock switches still do not work. Its crazy gremlins...

That is an easy thing to check and at this point I am willing to look at any and all options.
Thanks,
