1982 f-150 chugging

I have a 1982 f-150 with a straight six that after about 20 or 25 mins. of driving it starts to spit and sutter and it won't rev up. it acts like it is missing but it will idle perfectly. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Try swapping out the ignition module. You need to carry a spare around anyway if that's not the problem.
