94 f-150 help
hi i am new to this fourm and hoping somebody can help....i have a 94 f-150 with a 5.0.... my problem it that the damm thing wont start,,, i have spark to all 8 cylinders and gas to all 8 cause everytime i take the plugs out thery are soaked from trying to start it....so i have fuel and spark but it wont fire.....i put a new mod in and checked the rotor to the t.d.c mark on the balancer...so as you can see where im getting stuck on,...any help would be great

You say you got fuel,, what is pressure?? Is the spark weak(orange), or strong( bright blue)??

These guys are right...more info...when you said you put a new 'mod' in, do you mean you replaced the thin-film ignition (TFI) module (don't recall when that changed, but I believe that is remote mounted on your truck, not on the distributor), and if distributor mounted (ie you had the distributor out to replace it), checking for 180 out is a good idea. When it cranks, does it sound normal (smooth cranking) or does it sound like it is cranking, uh, cranky (kinda lumpy,rough sounding if that makes sense..not smooth)? Does it attempt to fire at all? Also, if you did replace the TFI, was it with a new one or used (and if new, was it a cheapo from the generic parts stores...might be weak if so even as a new part..they can bench test it to be sure..since the truck won't start, temp shouldn't matter). What condition are the plugs in, brand, etc? How are you drying them? Is this something that has just happened (ie, are you trying to start one that has been sitting forever or did it just quit and you are fixing? goes to fuel quality, pressure, etc). Would like to help you out and this site definitely has alot of guys qualified to help you resolve your issue, but more info is definitely needed.
