Which wheels to choose...

Well its been about a year...yeap...a year....since I have been looking at and debating wheels. knew I wasnt going to buy last year but I am EXTREMELY picky and have to research and look at things a 100 times. I know big wheels arent for everyone but after many pics I decided on 22's. I already picked up my tires at a sweet price (Nitto Terra Grappler 325/50/22's) and was about to order my wheels when I was told they are on National backorder........which is at LEAST 2 months I was told by the manufacturer..prob longer. So what I wanted was 22x10 Mazzi Hulks

since they are on backorder, I have bene looking at the "replica" of these....Eagle Alloy 064's. The center cap sucks imo, but the wheels is the same sans a 4mm difference in backspacing.

The Eagle is a few hundred bucks cheaper but why? Im guessing the chrome is lower quality. It does only have a 1 year warranty and the Mazzi's have a 3 year.

but while looking at other options (again) these started to grow on me.

Ion Forged Terminators...kinda like a Weld Cheyenne 8...

so what do you guys think??? I can find a few pics of each one on trucks too...

Here is the EXACT setup I decided on that I found while in Vegas back in November.

22" Mazzi's and 35's

and here is all I could find on a quick search of the Ion Terminators. these are 20's on 33s.....so same tire/wheel ratio just 2" bigger

I like the Ions better. The Mazzi's are almost plain looking...

I'm almost scared to ask, but how much are you looking at spending for wheels, tires, mounting, etc.?

The chrome on the Eagle alloys will peel within the first year. Mine are thrashed and they are under 2 years old. Eagle does not have a very good warranty either.

omg, those terminators look awesome...

the Mazzi's dont appeal to me at all..
esp that raised edge along the bead...to be honest i think the Mazzi's look like cheap wheels..but im sure they arent..

i also find teh 50series sidewall looks funny to.. BIG truck tires need sidewall... least in my eye it does..

when I was debating wheels my buddy said to me..."your gonna buy wheels that come on the truck stock? (referring to 20s) you cant lose with 22's man!!!" haha....I had to go one up. when I get the nerve I will deff be tossing 4.10s in the truck and upgrading the lift to a 6-7" and using 37s on the 22s
