mods and your ecm

ok guys question installed a edge a couple months back luv it really woke the truck up now thanks to uncle sam i have installed a mbrp si/so exhaust and a airade cai should i disconnect the battery and let the computer forget all of my bad driving habbits and relearn how the truck should run or does that even work and i will just waiste my time reprograming my edge and my radio presets ????????????

damn i figured someone would respond weather or not to disconnect the battery

According to Troyer Performance disconnecting the battery version still takes a while (200-800 miles) for the computer to relearn the new parameters. Reflashing with the Edge will relearn the computer instantly. I asked them this exact question after my experiences with relearning and reflashing...
