I've had 4 Astro Starts (made in Canada, I think). Two on diesels and two on gas. Had no problems with either and love the features. Only "thing" is that on my '04 6.0 PSD the tech could not tap into the glow plug circuit - so that the truck would start after the glow plug indicator turned off - instead he set remote start for 30 second delay. So truck sits for 30 seconds after you push button and then starts. No big deal to me and it's worked great.

I use the Viper alarm 5900 series. this thing is amazing I love it. You wouldn't beleave the range on it. I can start the truck from when im at the back of walmart. Anyways it has a 15sec delay on it (I bleave) never have any problems. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.

mine is a crimestopper. It has a giant antenna and a cool name but is far from a crime stopper and it eats batteries like a fat kid eating cake so the range is only really good for about a month.

15 second delay on the remote start and installation wasn't too bad. Also it was decently cheap.

I have a Compu-Star, works like a charm. It also works with my high-idle mod. The truck warms up faster in the cold winter months if I let it run for 5 min or so before I drive it here in S Dakota. It has a 2 way system built in that lets me know via the remote if the truck is running, locked... Good investment if you plan to keep the truck
