explorer leafs
So a friend of mine has a 87 2.3l 5spd 2wd ranger it's low mileage and really good on gas. Well today the driverside main leaf snaped on him and well the truck is a rusty ole girl rotted frame and body but he wants to continue to drive it until he finds a clean ranger that needs a motor. So he has a explorer that was slammed hard in the front and he and I were wondering if the leaf srings out of an explorer would work in his ranger. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the Explorer leaf springs will fit the Ranger. They are the same length and width so it should be a direct bolt on. They're also stronger than the Ranger springs, so they'll lift the rear of the truck a bit. What year Explorer does he have?
