Oasis Analysis

I'm looking at an 04 that is for sale. White F350 cc FX4 SB with 84k miles and a build date of 08-10-2003. The guys on this site sent me the Oasis report (THANKS!), and I think it looks pretty good. However, I wanted to hear opinions from anyone else willing to share them. I don't know how much of the Oasis report I'm allowed to post on here, so I'll just summarize. The truck has 84,000 miles on it.

Injectors 2 & 6 were replaced at 83,000 miles.

Turbo replaced at 73,000 miles

ECM recalibration and Customer assurance test drive at 44,000

Water drain plug siezed, replaced housing cover at 24,000

Fixed leaking exhaust manifold at 21,000

PCM reprogrammed for delay from R to D shift at 10,000

Wheels rebalanced and reflashed for rough idle at 1,600

Seems like a pretty clean report, doesn't it? My only concern is the two injectors that were recently replaced. How many of the other injectors are also on their way out? The report says they were replaced under warranty, so I wonder if the have the 200,000 mile extended warranty? And what would cause a turbo to "go out"?

One last Q.... What exactly is included in the FX4 package?

yours looked alot better then mine. I am currently looking myself.

Mine consisted of turbo, oil cooler, egr twice, egr cooler, gaskets, all injectors replaced atleast twice, oil pump, and reflashes, oil leaks, fuel/oil mixture.. Everything but the HG's done which concerns me.

Compared to the truck I am looking at with 91k on it yours is cherry! lol

Nothing in that report would scare me. It looks better than mine.

As for the FX4 package, you got all-terrain tires, skid plates under the fuel tank and transfer case, Rancho branded shocks, and two nifty stickers. That was most of it, there might be something I'm forgetting.

But to be fair to Ford, the FX4 package didn't cost very much during those years, and personally I like the badge on the rear. Also the fake Rancho shocks lasted until I changed them at over 50k miles, and they were not so bad. The new Bilstiens are better, but it's not life changing or anything.
