Convert to dually?
This site is amazing with so much info. I'm new to the site with a new 73 F250 camper special, 2WD, 390. I am going to turn this truck into a way cool work truck and am considering putting a flat bed on it. What all is intailled in changing the rear end to dually. Any help would be great, and thanks in advance.

The prefered method would be to put a rearend in your truck out of a dually you can use an axle out of even an 80's ford. Obviously you will need 4 dually tires and rims and most likely a new ujoint for your driveshaft. Grabbing a dually rear with wheels out of a junkyard or a parts truck would be ideal.

I used the 10 1/2 sterling with outboard drums under my 78'. I later converted it to discs off another 10 1/2. I also used the bolt on front adapters off a 92' Chevy dually to convert the front axle on my truck.
