a recall

got a notice in the mail about a recall on the cam shaft positioning sensor does anyone know what thi is about the truck is a 2001 f250 7.3

Yeah...it's a common problem on the 7.3L. Go to Ford to get a new one.

Not unless it craps out and you're in the middle of nowhere. It causes a no-run condition when it goes. I'd go get a new one even if yours is okay for now.
