<!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_start --><!-- END TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_start -->I have a 2004 6.0 that has had numerous problems with the EGR system. Just got back from ford, this time replaced cooler and valve. (2 valves prior) Not a week back home, and EGR codes back, I'm right @ warrenty end and was wondering if anyone has used just the delete plate or is it best to delete the cooler and all. Thanks for any help!!!!

I have only modded my up-pipe and used the SCT to limit the functioning of the EGR valve (prevents codes or CEL). If you are going to build a motor for some serious sled pulling or drag racing then do the full delete. If you just want a stock-to-mild motor then modding the up-pipe is a cheaper first step to see if it works for you.
