my ex has beend in the shop 5 time's and all parts replaced and still no cruz
i have a 01 v8 have had the bunt 3 bk bulb,cruz accuator, clock spring, the turtn sig s/w and flasher, did ck on cruz s/w it is good
i need help the shop cant fix so please tell me what to tell them

 

Did they check the GEM (General Electronic Module)? Sounds like you didn't take it to a Ford dealer 'cause they would've checked that. Bad GEM caused my '01 to lose cruise and horn.

One of the problems you could be having is the brake pressure switch. My was replaced under warranty with the inline fuse and it was still causing trouble. I would bet that is the problem.

Same things out on my 05 Ex. Where is the GEM located?? fuse box area or under hood

On my '01, it was under the dash adjacent to the fuses. I haven't bothered to see where it is on my '05.

great news it's fixed WHEN FORD DID THE RECALL A PIN IN THE HARNESS WAS NOT GETING POWER ALL THE TIME

 

Did you end up finding that or did you have ford look at it and find it?

 

i did not find this a former ford master tech at the shop that fix my truck did
