Afternoon guys (and gals ), out of class on lunch and have a quick ?... Who is the little "green block" czar? How are they computed? I've had a few reps, and since I'm "ticky" like that, am interested in how many I need before I get my first FTE promotion? TIA

I will give you my version

There is nothing that is written about it but here is what I have learned about it. Some of it is obvious so plese don;t be offended.

Each Dark green box is worth 100 points each light green box is worth 200 pts. There is software that assings the "tag line" to each step in the rep system. (Great reptutation, off to a great start etc) When you rep some one it usually adds 2-3 points on the average to their rep points. The "stronger" your reputation the more that your reps are "worth" Now this is where it gets a tad bit confusing....If you "use up" all your reps every day then your reps are not "worth" as many points as some one who dosen;t give them out as often. For example I haven't been maxing out my reps lately I repped some one last week and they sent a pm thanking me, they were 5 points away from the next green box that rep was worth 6 points to them. If you rep the same people over and over that also "down sizes" the points on the rep. Reps awarded from Admin are huge. I have gotten 25 point reps from them in the past. That is because they well are admin, their reptutaion is "up there" and they do not rep that often. I don;t think that any of our reps will be that high though.

On the flip side of all of this negative reps do the same. The higher your reputaion the more it takes from the person. But be careful if you neg rep someone because they will probably do it back to you.

I hope that this helps. I'm not really good at explaining things.

Ha, it's clear as mud now..

I disagree, seems you are quite articulate. Thanks for the well thought out response, simply put, I need to be more proactive giving out good advice.

Ok, out of school for the weekend, time to go have some FUN!!

Just spend a lot of time in the BS forums and you'll be loaded with greenies in no time
Really no knowledge or advice necessary just the right line of BS

Haha good MORNING all.. knew I'd be first up, 0430CST everyday.

Thought for the day, if you buy a ultra speed pad lock for your in bed tool box, that absolutely can NOT be cut off... don't forget the key when you take your truck out of state. Took the wife ~ 3 weeks to find the key and mail it to me. SO today, I can finally get into my tool box!!
