ok!.. so she drank another gallon of oil !!... but now it is registering full... well almost !!... and still no phantom acceleration when i started her !!... here's hoping the oil is the cure !!....thanks for all the advice people !!.... i will check the tranmission fluid over the weekend... You have to do it while the engine is running don't you ??.... well mum's said i can use the honda tommorrow for work so at least i won't be coming back on a tow truck !!!..........

After running straigt veggie oil, I think you need to change the fuel filter.
When you install the new filter, fill it with Diesel Kleen and run a double dose in the fuel tank.
Veggie oil and low temps are not a good combination.

well... after two days at work and 100 miles later .. i have had no problems whatsoever !!

another 100 miles completed and still no problems !
.. yes i've checked the oil again !... registers just below the " full " mark !
.. once again thanks for all your help and advice...... now how do i get 40mpg
