Does anyone have any info on books on replacing the fwd mounts on a '77 F-100. I have the new floor pans and mouns to replace them, but thought it might be handy to have the directions.(As a last resort)
I did it on my '70
supported the side of the cab with a jack and a 4x4 under the door,
cut the old one off with an air chisel new one in place// drill a few holes and bolt it in... (or weld if you prefer)and hit with your favorite paint/undercoat/rustproofing
The one i used is supposed to fit 67-86 models. Got it at the local parts place for $25. Not the thing for a concours restoration, but it got me going in a few hours, and has held up pretty well.
