COP voltage

I'm going to be changing my spark plugs in a few days and will be testing the voltage on the COP's. Just curious what the voltage should be.

I have purchased a COP tester which will read up to 40,000 volts. I also have 10 new COP's. I want to test the new coils before I put them on as well as test the old ones to know whether or not they are worth keeping.

Spoke to stealership today. Best they could tell me was somewhere between 10,000 and 40,000 volts.
