Hey Y'all!
Just joined, wanted to say "hey", I have a 55 F100 239 Y-Block. Mostly original with the exception of a fresh coat of Banner Blue paint, newer tires and a 12v conversion. Engine was overhauled 3 years ago after I drug her out of a barn and out from under the blankets, quilts and layers of dust that covered her for 10 years. I drive her almost every day, all over South Carolina with my job. She gets 17 mpg on 87 octane and only leaks enough oil to mark her teritory. I love your site and hope to spend a lot of time here. I have read several pages of posts and can tell you are all very knowledgable about Fords and have a great deal of respect for each other. We also have a 2002 Expedition, but I drive Blue every chance I can. I hope to talk with a lot of you soon.
