Morning all, the chrysler ignition box is a lot more comon then any ford box is, so if i am out in the middle of no where and need one i have a better chance of finding this one then a Ford one. there are only 2 chrysler boxes, this one and one that is not very comon. But ford had a bunch of them.

Or you could just carry a spare, probably not a bad idea to carry 3 or 4 after switching to mopar. although, anything I carry a spare of, never goes out. go figure.

You guy's carry spare parts? I carry a tow truck company phone number.
How do you know what to carry? Or do you just load up a trailer with one of everything and tow it, just incase.

I have a spare parts box that is always in the Jeep. Nothing big but always have hoses, clamps, ball joint or two, and fluids. The one time I left the High Lift Jack at home I got a flat. There were plenty of them in the group so it didn't pose a problem.
Yeah, I do too. I don't like to be anywhere without at least basic tools. I've never really carried parts, except the old take-off fan belt, fuses, and wiper blades. I've always got jumper cables.
