I picked up this truck in 1980 for $600 and put a bit of elbow grease to it

 

My recently acquired 66. 240, 3 speed, short, styleside. Second owner....All original, paint and all....rust free Oklahoma truck.

Love your truck! Unusual to see a 62 F100 4x4. Is the spotlight a dealer install? What happened to the original bed? Still--the +64 bed looks good!

 

The original bed was trashed when I got the truck.....so I put a flatbed on it for a while. Finally took the time to put this later bed on it.....I like it much better.

 

That bed looks much better than the original. I've never like the original bed on those, they just don't match the body lines.

 

That's because they use the '57-'60 style beds.

 

It is a compilation of years/Fords. I put some new to me 39.5x18 tires on it last week.

 

66 F100 CC - 289 Hi-Po (302 heads).

Thank you! Yah i couldnt stand the red wheels either. I am really happy with the way the new wheels look. I have wanted a set of those Torque Thrusts since high school. Now I just need to get the nose down a little.
