yep, de-arched springs....4" inches in rear, 3 1/2" in front. I'm going to notch the rear this fall to make it a tail-dragger

Love the look... I am wanting to lower my 64 as well. I was thinking of having the eyes reversed. Have any of you ever heard of having this done on a truck. I have seen a variety of cars that this is done on.

I am thinking this will allow me to maintain the load capacity while still getting it in the weeds (tall weeds, but weeds none the less).

thanks

Matt

yeah, but just reversing the eyes will only get you about an inch or so lower...you'll have to de-arch as well.

if you want to reverse the eyes and only de-arch 2 or 3" that would probably work. I didn't get mine reversed only because of the fact i was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get the springs back in the shackles...

my old 1962 f100 pickup. when i got the monster it was just under 100000 miles. it needs a lot of work... but after a year of small upgrades here and there she runs like a champ! my buddy is in the cab getting ready to run it (i was messing with the idle and mixture)

I bet you could just wet sand and polish it and it would look great!

Clean looking truck you have there!

that was right after a polish it has some cancer here and there and the passenger side rear tail light housing is all effed up...

the last time i polished it though a lot of paint was coming off in a powder form on the rag... *shrug* i am not sure what i wanna do with it.
