rust spots??
the doors on my 76' have those nasty bubbled out rust spots on them, and I am wondering what the best way to get rid of them is. I have tried to sand them, but it hasn't worked to well...and it takes a long time.
I was thinking of spraying over them with a filler primer with many coats, sanding them in between.

The best way would be to cut out the rusted spot and use a fiberglass repair kit unless, the damage is extensive. Then you should probably just replace the door skin. Just make sure that if you decide to patch it use a rust arresting chemical on it. I'm in the process of removing all the rust from my 82 F100 some will be patched and some panels will be replaced.
