primer before or after
Hi. I am doing some body work to the inners of my trucks cab. Around the door post and drip rails i stripped of the paint and blasted all the rust off. On the bottom of the door post i want to just smooth out the imperfections with some polyester putty. But I was wondering should I use PPG epoxy primer on these areas first, then apply the poly. and finish with high build primer and paint. Or should i just put down the poly, high build and paint. There wasnt much for rust in these areas i just want it to look clean and last a long time. I got alot of pics to add in my gallery, and i will do so in the next couple weeks. thanks for your help.

You may want to use acidwash to etch it if its
down to the raw steel before you put putty or
primer on it .
If it still has paint on it just sand it with
320 then use putty primer paint.
