Holy cow!

I am not on here to much due to work and all, but I just wanted to share this with everyone. I know that most on this site speak highly of DP-tuner. I just installed the AIS severe duty intake and the DP-tuner 60,80,120. I was not aware that there was a chip already installed on the truck (I bought it used). It was a Hypertec, not sure what caliber. But when I took the DP for a test drive...........Holy cow! I cannot believe the difference on all levels. The next thing to do is install the 6.0 intercooler that I have (another day). To all, thanks for listening and thanks for the advice on DP.

Some day I will be able to say that. From what I have herd You need gauges to keep an I on egt and boost. If You don't have gauges I would not stay in it for long, or tow anything.

Here's several mods that I found to be especially useful for towing with my AIS/DP setup. The stock Ford setup draws hot intake air into the AIS from under the hood and forces 100% of the ambient air flow to go through the restriction of the AC condenser where it picks up a lot of heat before going through the IC.

This mod supplies more air to the AIS and supplies some airflow directly to the IC because I removed the rubber baffle on the right hand side of the AC condenser that blocks air flow to the IC.

By removing the rubber baffle shown here that seals off the top of the AC condenser...

...you get a lot more direct air flow through the IC. A 6.0L IC helps but getting direct air flow through the IC helps even more!
