Manual locking hubs not locking
Hello to all, great site you have here. I hope that you all can help me. I have a 2003 ford superduty with manual locking hubs that will not lock in. I've owned the truck for three years now and never had any isues with this before. The transfer seems to be locking in but front wheels don't turn. The manual hubs wouldn't work off vacume would they?

Manual hubs are just that, no vacume needed. Try rolling back 3 feet then lock hubs. Also I always lock the hubs and then put the transfer case in gear as needed. Warn and a few other mfg's make a neat little tool to turn manual hubs but be careful not to damage your hubs by turning something that needs mechanical attention.
