really stupid question
I noticed today I had a couple of unread things not pm's.
One of them was a member message like a pm.
The other one was a friend request.
Now I'm a complete computer dummy and this was my first forum to ever become a member of so I ask what is the purpose of these what is a member message differant from a pm and what is a friend request.
I thought we were all friends.

The big difference I see with the freind stuff is everyone that goes to your profile page can read the messages.
With PM's, only people you send it to can read it.
Like here is all the stuff on my contact page, can you guys see it all?
