Beats me???

so couple weeks ago i posted a problem about my oil leak above my starter, well it has mysteriously Quit!! beats the hell outta me. i;m not complaining just wondering if its going to come back with a vengence. everything that i have read on here points to head gasket, hope it stays fixed i think the only mechanic that will mess with it around here is ford$$$$ and that aint happening!! this happen to anyone else?

Mine is doing the same! Stuff like that drives me nuts! I ain't dishing out 1000.00 to a shop , and I really don't have the time to do myself. It's losing less than half a qt in 5000 miles , so screw it. I just wash it good when it hits the carwash.

I had a 4.6l that did it for 50k before i pulled it to put a 5.4l in. Never hurt a thing. I wouldnt waste the money on fixing it.

i agree guys i had one guy here in town thought he could do it for around 800 but had never done one, another shop in town north of me wanted 1800!!!! i was like ya right so i'm with you guys i'm just going to let it go and put oil in it her you can buy a hell of a alot of oil with $1800

so i decided to order some lucas stop leak stuff guess its worth a try beats the hell outa 1000 dollars or more will let you guys know how it works out
