We have a 48 F1 V8 truck project with a 4 speed transmission that we are looking to have rebuilt. Anyone have any suggestions on what it should cost and where to get this done? I am in Michigan, but willing to ship.
For what it's worth I have a good condition T-98 4 speed (2,3,4 syncro) with the parking brake, that I pulled out of my F-600 that I am going to sell.
There was nothing wrong with it. If you're using a Y-block, I also have the bell housing, new clutch, pressure plate, throwout and pilot bearings.... plus a Y-block flywheel that has an excellent condition ring gear.... I even had it resurfaced. (I should use all this stuff!!)
I decided to go to an automatic trans. (pics in my gallery........ I guess I should just put this stuff in the classified section.....)
