Anybody else support the idea?
Sorry to get in on this, but Joe f350, you NEED to spend some time editing your posts so others can read them. If you can't do that, then maybe you should go back to school or study instead of reading these posts. Your future may depend on it. Even if you want to be a mechanic these days you need to have writing skills. Very few people will take you seriously if you type like a third grader.
Please don't take this offensively.

I'm not sure if Joe is seeking attention, or just what his deal is. If he is legitimate at all, he must realize that all of these lies and BS stories are not going to make him any friends, or give him any credibility as a person.
Joe, if this was a joke, it was a poor attempt at one. I'm pretty sure everyone realized your story was bogus from the first post. I, for one, haven't believed much of anything that has spewn from your keyboard since you've joined. I think you need to step back from the computer and think about becoming a man before you type the next post. Because the games you are playing and the crap that you are flinging reminds me a lot of something a 10 year old would come up with.

The green dot under your post count was supposed to give a user an indication of what kind of information the user usually posts, but in a couple forums that got jacked out of whack by some people as well.
So this is just like any other internet information source, some of it is good, some of it is bad.
At least here I try to point out bad information when I see it by offering my opinion.
But I am sure there are people that think my opinion is flawed as well.
To them, all I can say is it works for me and usually has for years.
Most of the people here, came here with a problem when they first posted.
Many found answers to that problem and never came back.
Many more found lots of good information and came back for more.
Then there are some that found long distance friends, and are here every day.
We only have one thing in common when we take everyone as a group, and that is some chunk of International iron called the IDI diesel engine.
My approach to problems is find out as much as I can before I say change this or that.
Trying to diagnose a vehicle you have never driven, never seen, never heard run and may not know all of the relevant info about is a challenge at best.
During my time on here I have seen change this, change that or it could be this, before all of the problem is even known.
Usually that is exactly what brought the user here in the first place, the garage they took it to had no clue how to fix the problem, they just started changing parts and running up a huge bill between shop rates and parts prices.
Just posting change parts and running off a whole list of them helps nothing.
Finding the problem, that is where users want to go.
That takes thought and lots of information from the person having the problem.
Fun is one thing, I like that as much as anyone.
But it is hard in the middle of someones problem and even harder if they are a new user and have no clue.
Part of this is my fault, I let things get to far out of control and I should have deleted posts at times.
Jason said it exactly right, Joe is not the first or the second or the third and he will not be the last either.
However if everyone is bothered I will shorten the reigns.
People do come here for serious information, not just BS.
Turbo threads turn into axle threads into charging system threads which does make things hard to find using search.
So I guess a thread or two for BS and more on topic posts in the rest is in order.
If I see a turbo thread turning into an axle thread, I will split the axle part out to a new thread and do the same thing again when the axle thread turns into a charging system thread.
There are not many on here that are bonified experts but I do value some of the members info. That said I bet even Dave and some other experts learn something once in a while and most of them enjoy helping others and the humor too.
