help me.

I am putting back together a 2000 Excursion with a 6.8 liter engine. We have come accross a sensor or switch that we cannot identify.
The sensor that it plugs into is threaded

It comes from a wire harness under the drivers headlight

And it has clips down the wire and two on the end

My first impression without looking at my X...

Is it the exterior/outside temp sender???

It mounts on the front cowl behind the grille... on the drivers side. Nothing screws into the end opposite of the pigtail.

Do a "Zoodad modification" search and you might see it in write-up where pictures are posted.

I believe that it is part of the dilithum crystals needed for warp drive. Without it the shields and the cloaking device will not work.

I will second the outside air temp sensor.

Thanks for the help
We are having trouble finding the mounting holes if anyone could post some pictures that would be awesome, our truck is pretty torn apart right now.
