whats the weight.
k. some may take this question as being a dumb one but i have had a lil trouble making sure. i am about to purchase a mag-hytec diff. cover and it is asking if my truck is a 1/2, 3/4, or 1 ton truck? it is a 95 f150 flareside. i am almost positive that it is a half ton. Just trying to make sure....

I didn't know about the 5 lug and 8 lug fact. I think I learn the most from those 'dumb questions', keep asking them.

f150=1/2 f250=3/4 f350=1
the lug fact can be accurate but some f150s will have different axles weather they were swapped in or factory and some axles can be either 5 or 8 lug so it is and isnt true...another way to tell you can look at the susp. a 1/2 ton will have leafs in the rear and coils up front a 3/4 or 1 ton will have front and rear leafs

if someone swaps in a d60 and a sterling 10.50 along with the front and rear springs it would pretty much be a 1 ton everything but the frame
