anyone ever see this happen
i will post pics when i get to dads to take them it was dark.
me and a buddy went to check a mud hole went out turned around few donuts and what not and all the sudden we were leaven and the radiator blew the whole half of it away.
we noticed yesterday that my hose was maybe collapsed or something but it never hurt it before.
what would cause half of your radiator to explode off/its gone not on ground nowhere?
sorry for the long post just looking for some input to avoid this in the future
it wasnt hot it never gets off c on my gauge rarley it will get above it well today it was the the N on normal and just bang blew right up.
im guessing collapsed hose but could it be anything else?

If your gauge never gets off cold but today it was on normal and the radiator exploded there could be a chance your gauge isn't reading right these gauges are not the most accurate to begin with. Just a thought
The tanks on these radiators use a gasket similar to a "O" ring and it is crimped on the core headers. Did one of the tanks blow off or did the core burst? The tanks can be reattached if the core and tanks are in good shape. Both my 94 and 95 had no problems past 195k miles. A rapid increase in pressure might not be handled by the rad cap. The overflow hose can get clogged or pinched between the cap and the overflow tank preventing the cap from venting properly as 88n94 indicated. Most of time the hose will fail before the radiator is damaged. A compression test should reveal a faulty head gasket. Check the condition of the oil for signs of coolant.
