i'm getting a job soon (hopefully) which means i can do a little more to my truck to fix her up.

i was wondering how much it would cost to..

take a dent out of my hood. its not huge but it is bashed in like maybe a big branch fell on it.

how much would it cost to get the whole truck repainted? the paint is dull everywhere and pretty much just chipping off. how much would it cost to get it painted a different color? and what companies are good about painting cars?

and how much does it cost to get that rust filler. i have rust just above my right rear tire (just like any other old f-150) and would like to fill it in and paint that too.

sorry if i dont give enough info, i'll make sure to check back and answer any give any more info if needed.

Hi Jeremy - Welcome to FTE.

You've asked way too many questions in one sitting. There is no set price for doing bodywork and painting. Alot depends on how much work you yourself and the quality your looking for.

Rust filler - if you have rust holes, the only fix I know of is welding in new metal.

There's been alot of discussions on pricing a paint job in this forum, try doing a search on the various things you're asking and I'm sure you'll find plenty of info. Reading through the prior posts should give you an idea of what your getting into.

Are you going to do the body repairs yourself?
Are you going to do the sanding and primering yourself?
