Yeah with a nice enough set of speakers stock size is fine, have the JL's myself with an MTX 8000 series 10 in a custom box mounted to where the single seat bottom used to be, looks clean sounds great. Just spend the extra $ on a quality set

All after-market speakers are superior to stock I just happen to like pioneer, personal preference.

Nice to see everyone's input.

Run 2 image dynamics in a custom ported box and because of my ipod the bass changes from song to song but when it gets real low and loud the speakers are still audible and clear (until the sub distorts all sound in and around the truck).

Just take the initiative and replace them.

Oh yeah I love Pioneer, their the only head units I use. Have a AVIC D-2 in my Excursion and just bought a DEH P980 for the F-150

When it came to decks I only liked what Alpine and Pioneer had to offer....both are top notch.
