clearing codes

I'm trying to reset the codes for my 95 F-150 302 auto. Does anyone know how to do this, besides taking off the negative battery cable. Thanks

That is the easiest way. The other way would be to run the codes with a scanner and delete, or whatever way the reader removes the codes after correction.

Find the STI wire in the EEC test harness and ground it.
Turn the key to run and let the codes begin to flash on the check engine light.
Remove the ground wire and the codes will be erased.
