sagging door handles
hi folks, new to this forum and would like to thank the members for their input concerning droopy handles. i'll try to participate in the group as much as i can.

Hi bnrnchn - welcome to FTE.
There was an excellent thread on this about 4 months ago - pictures etc. Unfortunately the search function is AFU tonight so I can't get the link to you. But if yo uwill go to the search box on the first page of this forum, in the upper right corner, there is a box that says "Search this Forum" Type in exterior door handles and the threads will come up.
Other wise, we can keep this thing on the top of the list by posting jovials, and when the search is working again, I'll try and find it for you.

i'm not much of a typist or pc user but will coax my daughter into some lessons. in regard to the door handles i used julie's pictures to break down the components inside the latch. i found the wear marks and will attempt to mig the opening to add a little meat to the irregular opening, should solve the problem. i've had a 49 f-1 for quite a few years with a lot of inactivity due to surgerys etc relocated the fuel tank, new harness,guages, just built bases for buckets and installed. anyone need a nice bench? will try to sign on soon and maybe post a couple pictures. thanks to all for the nice welcome.
