2000 F150 Engine Troubles - No Codes?
Requesting any advice or ideas anyone may have. My 2000 F150 has started sputtering and skipping. It started doing it only when going uphill when the motor was strained and would not do it just running along, but now it is starting to do it more and you can feel it missing when you are sitting idle at red light. I had a previous EGR problem, but cleaned ports, etc.. The check engine light went away when I cleaned the EGR ports, and has not come back on. There are no dash lights lit up now. Engine is a 4.6V8 with 170k miles on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Changed them at about 115k. Truck has around 180k miles on it now. It does act just like it did once before when it had a misfire on the #8 position, but the dash light came on when it occurrred before. If I change the plugs, should I change the COP's also?
