it's a very good coating and is used in a few places around the truck already. It can be seen pretty easy but dont stand out like a bug sheild. I think it's worth it if you have stone chip problems. I have heard that it aint cheap though.
I agree with Buck 1, I apply the 3M clear decals at the bodyshop I work at quite often. A good bodyshop shouldn't charge as much as the dealership will. The clear protective decal will still be affected by stone chips, but will provide paint protection.

No problem! I was talking about the clear plastic coating that they apply and basically heat shrink it onto the vehicle.
Great Price but it's only for bumper not hood. They want $89.95 for hood kit, still a great price but DIY vs $320.00 for drive in, wait an hour and drive home for hood and bumper. Chris
