How much trouble will I have if I try to put front seats and console from an 00 excursion in my 01 quad cab truck? I am thinking that everything will just bolt right up.
I have no idea if the seats you bought will mount up, but knowing superdutys bolt patterns are the same from 99 till now, I bet they have a chance of matching. But not garenteeing anything. Maybe someone else will chime in and have a better answere. Good luck.
Ha! I did a similar search recently hoping that the F150 seats would fit in the Super Duties. No deal... It's a shame because there are so many nice F150 seats for sale on eBay at reasonable prices. I wish that someone made a conversion seat bracket.
your knowledge is vast sir thanks alot for your help it looks like i'll have to make some brackets, thanks again, keep on keeping on
Ha! I wish my knowledge were vast... There are many FTE members who have a great deal of knowledge about our trucks and are willing to help. I learn something new everyday on this forum.
You would have to flip both sets of seats over and measure the track brackets. Usually you can swap the brackets to match your floor mounts. The seat spacing is usually the same on the bottom of the seats.

Are you saying that I could just trade seat brackets and use the F150 seats in my F350?
My wife needs more comfortable seats for our 2000 Super Duty. It has the basic tan cloth three part bench seat, except the driver's seat is six-way power. She used to say that the driver's seat was more comfortable than the passenger seat, but she does not drive the truck any more. This is an extended cab truck. The passenger seat is the critical seat, but for appearance, I would prefer to change out all the front seats together. I am willing to give up the center jump seat, not sure what I would put in it's place.
I am thinking about going for captain's seats out of a junkyard, but any other suggestions? Not sure what year of Super Duty will match up. I would prefer something that would bolt up, but I could weld up something if I had to.
