99 SVT Inst. panel Questions...
I posted this in the f150 board as well but got no response so I am asking you Gen II Lightning guys. Maybe y'all can help me out. I own a 98 F150 XL w/ the 4.2. I recently bought an inst. panel from a 99 lightning with the intentions of putting it into my truck. To my dismay I discovered that the elec. connectors on the back side are totally different. there are three for the regular trucks and 2 for the SVT. Does anyone know if there is a way to make this panel work in my truck? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Come on guys I am not giving up on this. I have figured out that the 97-98 and 99-up trucks share the same wiring to the cluster. The difference is the electrical connectors on the back. What I need to know is what color wire goes where on the newer model clusters. I was hoping that some of you Ford dealership technicians can help me out with this one.
