Fuel pump removal
I have looked at the photos and descriptions of how to remove the hp pump ... they are great. One question I have that appears very important. It has to do with all the post that express the importance of not dropping the tappet pin. One thread says "lift the pump straight out until the tappet pin clears the hole. Which hole, on the pump or the top of the engine. Do you remove the pin with the pump or leave the pin in the engine. If it is to come out of the top of the enging, any tricks to properly replacing it.
