I have a 1989 F 250 with 300 six cylinder and M5R2 transmission. I know I need to work on the clutch because I can smell it when towing hard. The fluid level is correct. My question is...does this have a 10 or 11 inch clutch?

It does have the internal slave cylinder.
All help is appreciated.
According to rockauto, if your GVWR is over 8500lbs then you should have an 11" clutch. Under, 10".
I can't offer anymore help than that, as I don't have a 6 cyl. Anyone who knows for sure is likely to chime in soon.
You are correct with the answer. I have learned that both sizes will fit. The local parts dealer has agreed to have one of each size on hand this weekend just in case.
Thanks for the help
