I bought my truck used and dont know the code to unlock the door with the key pad on the door, where is the module located so I can get the number off it. Or if anyone else has another way of getting the code let me know, its nice to have if you wife locks hers keys up in it. Thanks

I had the same problem, I called my local Ford Dealer (even though I didn't buy the truck there) and they gave me the factory code to reset it, then I could program my own. Good Luck...

You can have the dealer hook up their computer to your truck and get the code (some dealers charge you for this) or you can find the module behind your dash which has the code printed on it.

Do a search for "keyless code" and you will get alot of info about getting the code.

Here is one thread about it: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...lock-code.html

I believe the module is located somewhere underneath the radio area. Personally I would take it to dealer purchased from and ask them to retrieve. Most of them will step up to the plate if they're worth a salt.

I have a 2005 Excursion Diesel, lost card, forgot code! Tried to look up the center behind radio, found only wires and vent pipes. Found a 5 digit code above the fuse box, but that ain't it... Anyone have any suggestions? Also, how do i get my hands on the code sheets (does anyone have 2005 entry code list?)
