starter help
im having trouble replacing the starter on my 96 f250 7.5 460 2wd. i cant reach the 2nd bolt. the first (lower) bolt faces forward... no problem. the second bolt has to be loosened from the backside which it extremely difficult to reach. its tucked away out of site, in a little nook on the trans casing and behind the exaust. i tried to take the exaust off but the bolts were so tightly rusted i was afraid i would break them.
anyone faced this problem?

Can you get a wrench back there? A gear wrench with a swivel on it might be your ticket to getting into the tight space. Also, leave the easy to reach bolt in place to make it easier taking out the tough to reach one. For the exhaust, oxy acetylene or leave it alone.
