hey all, my wife's 2008 F150 recently had a slow leak/almost flat. she took it to discount tire and they said the screw was in the sidewall and the tire couldn't be saved.
so they put the new--unused spare on. no problem with that, but ever since they changed out the tire the tire warning light comes on---inside. And the tire pressure is fine on all tires.
"the OLD spare is not back underneath yet but sitting in the truck bed".
is there another reason or is this warning system looking for the spare to be down below??? thanks....
ok, that makes sense. i guess, i'm old school and but sounds like overkill on technology. oh well, i guess it's better to know these things when she's driving. looks new tire time......thanks guys!
