A good tire shop would normally use load/inflation tables to reference the OE size and pressure vs the new size. If you can provide your OE size and pressure requirements from the VC label (door sticker) I can help you figure it out. My guess is your new tires should be right about 40 psi...
take a chalk stick and make a band across the full treadwidth. drive ahead3-4 tire revolutions check to to see how evenly the chalk is erasing.if it wears off in the middle first press is too high. if on the sides first you need more press.you shoulf not exceed the # on the sidewall or go down to less than 3/4 of the number.as soon as you depart from factory brand tires the chart on the door is fairly meaningless. the number on the sidewall is the max safe press for the carcass, which is also the pressure to use for max payload, if you're not spending most of your time at 75% load or more , max is too much press

The chalk test only works when tires are new. If tires have been worn down by being over or under-inflated the chalk test will tell you to leave them that way.
The best way to figure out tire pressures is to find out your actual front and rear axle weights and use the tire inflation tables to get the correct pressures. The numbers Ford lists on the door jamb use the tire inflation tables and the maximum front and rear weight ratings, so unless you run around at max GVW all the time Ford's numbers are too high.
