outside temp

hi all
hope you can help me once again my outside temperature display is off by 15 to 20 degrees warmer than it should be also does anyone know where the sensor is located its on a 2001 f150 supercrew 4x4

i just replaced mine today. it started to read off then it just said it was 140 degrees. its just to the right of the hood latch, but you have to take off the top plastic cover that is over the radiator first. you can get a new sensor at a parts store for around 15 - 20 dollars. takes 5 min to change. oh and the ford part from the dealer is around 50 dollars!

thanks guys got mine figured out once i knew where it was it was my snow plow blocking the wind keeping it warmer then it should be
