Hi I just bought a tonneau cover for my 2001 and I would like to know what is the best to get a nice clean look on my tonneau cover. I have heard that armour all kills them with cracks and stuff liek it kills dash boards.

I would use the same cleaning products you use on your truck. I would forget about using products like armoural. I put that crap on my cover and after a goood rain it ran down the side of my truck and left streaks.....

 

Cleaning instructions that came with my Extang said use nothing but soap and water. They (Extang) do now have a product called tonneau tonic that is safe.

thanks yesterday iwased the truck and the cover looked great with only using soap and water i guess i will have to wait and see if it looks good when it sits in the sun for a day
