Dash Kits

Hey I was checking out some of the dash kits on edashkit.com and was wondering if anyone has ever installed one before?? My friend got one from edashkit.com and it looks great but he paid a detailer 50.00 to put it in. They state it is a diy job on the site and their customer service said the same...any thoughts or info will be appreciated.

They're fairly simple as long as your patient and take your time. The difference between a good job and a bad one is prep work.Rather than using alcohol to prep the dash with I have found that plastic prep works better, you should be able to buy this from any bodyshop supplier. Also I would recommend using a heat gun to warm the surface of the panel your applying it to and the piece itself. 3M tape adheres best if you heat it until it just starts to blister, be careful these peices can become hot enough to burn your fingers or even distort the shape of it. hope this helps. :-)
