water/methanol injection
Does anybody have any comment on water/methanol injection. I am thinking about putting it my 06 F-250, I have a Banks intake and Banks Monster duals, also I have a pillar mount with boost pyrometer and tranny temp. Does anybody think that I will have any problemsif I run a small injector at a low PSI. Please let me know what you guys think.

You are getting into a rich man's area of diesel performance. If you have factory warranty remaining, YOU WILL LOSE IT by doing that. I would bet every ford dealer from coast to coast would run to the computer to black list you as soon as they see methanol injection. It is also better suited to extreme performance. The ads tell you it helps mpg's, but there are a lot of other things you could do first without sacrificing warranty to help yourself with mpg's. Based on what you have done, I would look at a tuner from Spartan. You will be amazed at the power you can get from a tuner, and if you are careful and know the right dealer, you might be able to keep your warranty.

don't know much about doing this with diesel. In high performance aircraft engines it was used as a type of emergency boost. It was called ADI or anti-detonation injection fluid. Engines could run at very high power settings but for a very brief and limited time. Unless your building a racing engine or something like that ???
